Liverpool.

Hey there,

It's been a long time since we last talked, right? I can barely remember the last time I sat down in front of my computer to write a text like this.

So much has happened that I don't even know where to start. Maybe I'll share more about that sometime. But there's one story in particular that I really want to tell you.

On Jan 30th, I packed up all my stuff, full of excitement and anxiety about what was about to happen in my life. I could hardly believe that I was finally going outside. And by "outside," I mean to another continent. A completely new culture. Different sounds. Vibes. Foods. Life.

The plan was simple: attend a college in the UK, study English as much as possible, and return home feeling ready for the next challenges. Fair enough, right?

It turned into an incredible journey of self-connection. I felt so much there, in every sense of the word. I felt happy, excited, cold, alone, lost, inspired, sad, fragile, welcomed, and alive.

Of course, I learned a lot of English and picked up cultural insights along the way.

But it was more than that…

I visited all the must-see places. I tried new beers. I ran in the rain. Learned to say my name in different languages like Thai, Arabic, and more. Met people from totally different parts of the world and got a glimpse of how they live and what really matters to them. I saw how they dance at birthday parties.

Relearned how to make friends. Understood that laughter and jokes don't need a common language. Felt butterflies when ordering food I didn't know. Saw that bad things happen everywhere. Realized that the grass isn't always greener next door. Got frustrated when I couldn't express myself fully. And still, somehow, ended up feeling like me again.

I could walk you through all the remarkable (and not-so-remarkable) moments I had there. And I'll write about them in the future. But for now, what I can say is: It feels so good to feel alive again.
